UNLIKE MOST PROGRAMS, THE FOOD FREEDOM METHOD IS NOT ANOTHER DIET.

This isn't a follow-a-meal-plan-and-then-stop-program. This program is here to change your life permanently. The Food Freedom Method doesn't just focus on what you eat, it helps you understand why and how you eat and how to unlearn habits which no longer serve you (such as emotional and binge eating), find food freedom and never have to diet again!

Something I ask all clients to do who work with me during the program is to put aside the weight loss goal, and focus on health and wellbeing instead. This can feel scary as it's often been the main focus for a very long time. When weight loss is the main goal, emotional eating and binge eating is extremely hard to change. We look at learning to trust our body's signals and eat in a way which is holistically nourishing. This means never needing to diet again!

During the 3 months, you'll be supported in the knowledge that there is no option to fail. What do I mean by that? Every event which you view as a failure, is really a time to learn. A time to approach the situation with compassion and curiosity, and to continue showing up and learning. That's where true progress is made, amongst the numerous "failures" you'll experience.

QUESTION: WILL YOU BE ABLE TO ANSWER MEDICAL QUESTIONS?

Answer: In this capacity I am working as a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and coach. I am not working as your GP. Although I bring a lot of knowledge and skills from my career as a GP, if there are specific medical issues that you have questions about, or diagnoses you wish to have made, then I will advise you to speak with your GP. If you mention symptoms which sound concerning I will always advise you to speak to your doctor.

QUESTION: HOW DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE AND HOW OFTEN?

Answer: The sessions are individual and online via Zoom. They take place weekly, lasting around an hour. The times vary depending on the day, usually between 9.30-4pm, I do some later calls so please ask. I advise to keep the same day and time slot where possible each week. Sessions are weekly for 12 weeks.

QUESTION: CAN I EXTEND THE PROGRAM IF NEEDED?

Answer: Yes. 3 months is the time it takes to use and cement all the tools and resources you'll need to make significant changes. However, everyone is unique and sometimes people require a longer amount of time spent focusing on certain areas (such as nutrition or emotional regulation). The program can be extended, the pricing is based on how much longer is required.

QUESTION: CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

Answer: I ask for payments to be received prior to the first consultation (or first installment if this is the payment method). If you decide after the first session that you are not ready to commit at the time and do not wish to continue the program, a partial refund is available. The refund policy is in the client contract which will be sent prior to the first session.

QUESTION: I REALLY WANT TO DO THE PROGRAM, BUT I HAVE A FEW HOLIDAYS BOOKED/DATES I CAN NOT MAKE, HOW WOULD THIS WORK?

Answer: The online sessions are weekly, for around an hour. I try and keep the same day and time each week for clients. If there are certain weeks you can't make, we can postpone and continue the following week (extending the program). Ideally I would need to know in advance about these dates, but if something comes up last minute then I can try and rearrange in the same week (availability depending).

There may be a week in the program when I am away, and for that week the program will be postponed (again, the program will be extended) and I will give you notice about this.
